Laurie is currently a Principal and the Director of International HR for Stantec, a large firm of architecture, engineering, planning and environmental services. She started her career in Human Resources at Ratcliff Architects before moving to Gensler as the firm grew from 400 to 2000 and became a global operation. At Gensler she served as a Principal and VP of HR, overseeing the HR function including recruiting and learning programs, and also served as a rotating member of the firm’s management committee. Laurie teaches at ACEC’s Senior Executives Institute, AIA conferences, A/E Advisors, AEBL, and Design Leadership events. She serves as a member of Stantec’s Diversity and Inclusion committee.
