THA Architecture Inc.
Portland, Oregon

Stefee has 21 years of experience in architecture, project management, and sustainable design, and has been with THA since 2010. She has managed numerous complex and challenging public projects within the United States and abroad, achieving a balance between community involvement and safety and security.

Her passion for sustainable design, effective communication and problem-solving has led to significant past roles on educational projects, such as: developing a working definition of facilities that supports 21st Century Education and working with PSU’s Green Modular Task Force and Oregon Solutions to develop a new prototype modular classroom concept, which is sustainable and affordable. Stefee is a member of the Benson High School Design Tech Advisory Committee, which is proposing to transform this focus-option school into a place where “design thinking” is the basis for project-based learning in many fields, including architecture. And as a current President of the Portland chapter of the American Institute of Architects, founder and member of the chapter’s Committee on Architecture for Education, and past co-chair for the chapter’s Committee on the Environment, Stefee is a leader in education and sustainability in the Portland architecture community.
